Memory Lane - Magnolia Card

Yay! I finally got a chance to play with this Romantic Tilda!
Her dress is made with fabric and trim, I think she looks really sweet and pretty with her sun hat and umbrella.
The title of this card is "Memory Lane". I wanted to create a park-like setting for Tilda to take a stroll in, I hope it works.

Happiness - Zen Garden - Magnolia Card

I'm happy it's Friday, but this week passed by so fast for me.
For today's card, I've used "Chinese Tilda", but to me she looks more Japanese. So I wanted to make a serene, zen like garden scene.
I've added spackle of paints (dark green, light green, pink, yellow, and white) to the weeping tree paper background (DCWV)
The cute little bird cage and the fan charm really finish off this card nicely. Does it look "Zen" enough? I hope so. :)
Once again, I've colored Tilda using Prismacolor Pencils and Sansodor Oil.

Sunshine & Apples - BnW Card

How about another Belles 'n Whistles card today?
It's "anything goes" this week at Belles 'n Whistles Challenge, so ink-up your BnW stamp and play along.

For this card, I've cut-out her umbrella and her flower bouquet to make it a bit different.
Gave her some fresh picked flower soft and some yellow roses and away she goes...doesnt' she look so sweet and summery with her basket of apples?

Just A Note To Say Hello - Magnolia Card

It's already Sunday, that means the weekend is almost over with! I hope you're enjoying every second of it.

My card today is made using "Tilda with Peony"...Oh, she is too sweet and so much fun to color.
I wanted a bit of a Vintage feel, so I've added blue and brown on her. I think the color combo works nicely, it makes her stand out on the card.
The edges are machine stitched with brown thread, added some lace, charms and beautiful flowers to finish the card.

Thanks for all the wonderful comment you've left for me. It means so much! I can't wait to share my next creations with you.

I made this card for the Belles 'n Whistles Challenge this week.
The challenge is to make a card using "Warm Colors", hope baking some warm chewy chocolate chip cookies helps too! lol
There is a pull-out tag for your recipe to share with a friend, and the charms says "A Spoon full of Love"...isn't that so sweet!

Message In A Bottle - Magnolia Card

Hope you had a great weekend. Here is what I made over my weekend.
This is Little Mermaid Tilda, and I have many more wonderful ideas I want to use her for.
But then again, I still have many stamps that needs some attention and love as well. :)

For this card, I wanted to make an underwater scene and I think it turn out nicely.

A Baby is A Miracle - BnW Card/Scrapbook Page

Hello Dear Friends, just want to share a card I made for the Belles 'n Whistles Challenge today.
The challenge this week is to make a project using "purple/lilac"...one of my favorite color!

I started to work on a card then changed my mind.
Because the piecing was a bit overwhelming on the card, I made it into a scrapbook page instead.
This adorable image is "Sweet Dreams"...and is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Sansodor Oil.

Here is the card I started with...

and here is the transformation from card to scrapbook page...

I added my little tear bear and lots of big beautiful blooms to fill up the page.

Friendship is the Sweetest Treat - BnW Card

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.
I'm rushing to finish this card before the Belles 'n Whistles Challenge deadline...I entered it with 3 minutes left!
Whewww...talk about last minute!!! :)
I had the idea for this image awhile back, once I saw the Challenge at BnW this week, I knew it was a perfect fit. :)

The Challenge at Belles 'n Whistles is "Fun in the Sun".
I made a cute little picnic scene for Belle and her Kitty to have fun under the sun.

Over at Dutch Dare Challenge is anything goes.

The ABC Challenge is August...I think August is all a bout Summer, Sun and Fun.
Belle having a picnic with Kitty is just perfect for a Summer Picnic, don't you think? :)

CLP-28 August's Sketch Challenge - Ends 08/31

I'm so excited about today's post.

Here is the Sketch for the month of August:

For my card, I have rotated and flipped the sketch and this is what I came up with.
The image is Blossom Fairy Cammy and she is from the NEW Blossom Fairy Collection.
All the colorings were done with Prismacolor Pencils and Winsor & Newton Watercolors.
I wanted to make her look a bit different...more like fantasy and fairytale like...so I've added colors to her hair.
What do you think? I'm not sure about the color choice, but I think she looks very unique. :)
