Pretty Pebbles Tutorial

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the comments on the pebbles you see on my cards.
Today, I would like to share a tutorial on how I make these little beauty.

But first, here are some highlighted pictures of how I use these pebbles...

So here we go...

Materials needed:

  • Scrap Papers
  • Glass Pebbles
  • Fiskars Circle Punch
  • Ranger Glossy Accent

This is how I make my pebbles...

Step 1 -Punching

  • After you have picked out your scrap papers, take your fiskars circle punch and punch out the desired image.
  • Here are a few butterfly punch outs.
  • You can now ink the edges or add glitter to the images if you wish.

Step 2 - Adding Adhesive

  • Add a small amount of Glossy Accent to your punched-out image

Step 3 - Adding Pebble

  • Gently place the glass pebble on the circle image with the Glossy Accent as an adhesive.

Step 4 - Finished Look

  • The results are these beautiful bubble pebbles.

You can use scrap papers, vintage print out, words/saying.
Hope this tutorial useful.
If you use this technique, I would love to see them. Please leave me a message with link to your project.

A Vintage Style Christmas Card

Hi there! I've starting making Christmas cards...*Yay*...and just wanted to share the finished card today.
This card has a bit of a vintage feel thanks to this beautiful stamp from Stampendous call "Key Note".
The image was stamp with VersaMark Watermark on brown cardstock then heat embossed with black embossing powder.
I've accented the card with Copper PearlEx powder on the key, angel and bottom corner of the card.
These beautiful papers are from K&Co.

Thanks so much for your visit.

Lil' Pumpkin - Tilda with Big Ribbon - Magnolia Card

Hi there, thanks for stopping by! I hope your day is going well.
I'm sharing a Magnolia card made with TOMIC Sketch and fall theme challenge.
The sketch is wonderful...

The background paper is really pretty! I didn't want to cover it up so I used vellum as an overlay, but it's not as transparent as I'd like. Maybe next time, I'll try a light weight vellum paper instead.
You'll find some of my handmade items on this card...such as the fabric flower and the stickpin.
This was my take on the fall theme and the Sketch, I had a great time making this card.

The Shabby Tea Room Challenge - Guest Designer

Oh I'm so excited to share this post with you today.
My card is especially made for The Shabby Tea Room Challenge where I'm delighted to Guest design this week.
The challenge is to make "Boys Will Be Boys" card and here is my take...

This is a print out of a cute vintage little guy and the heart reads..."If I could catch your Heart...I'd send the others back."
Isn't that adorable? I thought the image was perfect for that saying! :)
I've used Prima papers, seem bidding, stickpin, lace and pearls to add to the "Shabby" style.

I hope to see you there! Come join the challenge and also check out the wonderful creations from the DT...they are gorgeous!!!!
Thanks to the Tea Room ladies for having me as a Guest.
Have a great day and thanks for your visit.
